A full list of nominees in all categories can be found here.

BAFTA previously announced longlists for all categories, so you can see what was in contention for nominations here.

Oppenheimer leads the way with a massive 13 nominations, with Poor Things in second place with 11, and Killers Of The Flower Moon and The Zone Of Interest with nine apiece.

There are a couple of interesting omissions from the lists: whilst both were included on the longlist in the relevant categories, neither Leonardo DiCaprio or Lily Gladstone were nominated for their performances in Killers Of The Flower Moon. No Best Picture nod for Barbie, or Director nomination for Greta Gerwig (although I don't think this necessarily hurts their chances at the Oscars next week). Like I always say, BAFTA do skew toward British talent so the inclusion of films like All Of Us Strangers, The Zone Of Interest, and Saltburn is to be expected.

The nominees for the 2024 Rising Star award - the only BAFTA awarded by public vote- have also been announced: this year's nominees are Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), Mia McKenna-Bruce (How To Have Sex), and Sophie Wilde (Talk To Me). Find out more about them, and cast your vote here.

The 77th BAFTA Film Awards will be handed out in just a month's time (on Sunday 18th February) in a ceremony to be hosted by the rather marvellous David Tennant.

Congratulations to all nominees!

If I'm right, then our next stop this awards season will be the Razzies nominations on Monday (22nd January). Should be interesting to see what they come up with this year...
