The Snowman (1982)

A perennial Christmas favourite, this short film (only 26 minutes or so) based on Raymond Briggs' book about a young boy who makes a snowman which comes to life on Christmas Eve has charmed its way into the hearts of a generation of children. 

It is famous for the song 'Walking In The Air', made famous by Welsh chorister Aled Jones:
